Giving back to our community has been a cornerstone of our business since we were founded. We are proud to be a part of the vibrant community here in Western Mass and that is why we are thrilled to have recently supported the following organizations:
Empty Bowls | Amherst Survival Center
Tickets are still available for this year's Empty Bowls fundraiser on April 6th! This event raises funds for the Amherst Survival Center's food & nutrition programs which serve more than 10,000 people facing food insecurity each year. As part of this event, you'll receive a handmade bowl from local potters filled with delicious soups made by local restaurants and the Survival Center's own kitchen.
Taking place on April 7th, The Syrup Stamped supports Empty Arms Bereavement, a 501 (c) (3) organization, which serves families in Western Massachusetts. Proceeds will allow Empty Arms to continue to fulfill its mission by helping families get the support they need, providing professionals who care for bereaved parents with the resources they need to do their job well, and helping the families and friends of the bereaved parents through the grief process associated with perinatal loss. You can still register for the race here!
Chiks of the Future Scholarship
We are thrilled to be partnering with Chikmedia again this year for their Chik of The Future Scholarship. This annual scholarship is given to a woman of color pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business. Applications for 2024 are now open! Head to Chikmedia's website to apply today.
Greenfield Community College Scholarship
We are proud to support the Greenfield Community College (GCC) Scholarship fund each year in memory of Summerlin Floor Owner Ann Bronner's daughter. Known for the caring and supportive attitude of the faculty and staff, academic excellence, and for the broad support it enjoys from the surrounding community, GCC will always remain a special place in our hearts.
The 94.7 WMAS Radiothon for Baystate Children's Hospital helps raise funds to advance pediatric research, purchase kid-sized equipment, and improve the experience of kids in Baystate's care. We are excited to have sponsored this event again this year!
This annual event is a highlight for the Amherst community! From the end of January through the beginning of February, WinterFest offers an array of exciting events, culminating in the Fire & Ice Festival and Luminaria. The funds raised support community outreach initiatives and recreation gift accounts.
The Starlight's Youth Theater is dedicated to the development of the child, expanding their imagination in the world of theater. We are proud to help support their mission each year.
